Where we stand
Valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and under the equivalent regimes elsewhere, are acted upon: the material identified is removed or access to it is disabled. Our preference is emphatically for receiving a notice and settling the matter over watching something escalate, and this page is written to make that straightforward rather than to put obstacles in the way.
Our designated agent
Send notices through the contact form, marking the message "DMCA notice", or on WhatsApp at +212 610 046 062. What arrives that way reaches a person, not an automated queue.
What a notice must contain
Identification of the copyrighted work said to be infringed.
Identification of the material complained of, with enough detail for us to locate it.
Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
A statement that you hold a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for them.
Your signature, physical or electronic.
What happens next, and when
You will have an acknowledgement within two working days of a valid notice and action within five. Should a notice be missing one of the elements listed above, it comes back to you with a note identifying which one — it is not filed away silently and left unanswered.
If you think we got it wrong
Material of yours removed in error can be contested. Send a counter-notice along the same route, carrying the same identifying information plus a statement made under penalty of perjury, and it will be weighed on what it says rather than on who sent it.
